Beatrice Mtetwa and the Rule of Law is a documentary film featuring the winner of this year's Ivan Allen Jr. Prize for Social Courage, human rights defender Beatrice Mtetwa. In spite of beatings by police and being arrested and jailed, Mtetwa has courageously defended in court those jailed by the Mugabe government in Zimbabwe—peace activists, journalists, opposition candidates, farmers that have had their land confiscated, and ordinary citizens that had the courage to speak up.
