Sam Nunn School of International Affairs Georgia Institute of Technology (Academic Announcement)
The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) position in International Security at the rank of either Assistant or Associate Professor to begin Fall 2018. The Nunn School seeks to hire an individual whose demonstrated scholarly research and teaching in the field have a functional concentration broadly related to the nexus of science and technology with national/international security policies and strategy. Research foci of greatest interest include cyber/information security or other emerging technology challenges. The School has a secondary interest in candidates able to apply modern analytical techniques such as big data/social media analytics or networks analysis to their research or teaching. There exist opportunities for joint appointments with another School at Georgia Tech, in particular those in the Colleges of Sciences, Engineering, and Computing. Thus, comfort in working with technical experts and teaching interdisciplinary courses is strongly encouraged.
