CIA Director William Burns to Visit Georgia Tech

On Thursday, April 14, the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs will host William Burns, director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Burns will give a talk titled "The Role of Intelligence at a Transformational Moment."

Members of the general public are welcome to attend the event. Tickets must be reserved from the Ferst Center for the Arts ahead of time, and seating is first come, first served.

This event is in-person only. There is no virtual link to attend.

About Director Burns

William Burns was officially sworn in as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency on March 19, 2021, making him the first career diplomat to serve as Director.

Burns is a crisis-tested public servant who spent his 33-year diplomatic career working to keep Americans safe and secure.

Director Burns received three Presidential Distinguished Service Awards and the highest civilian honors from the Pentagon and the U.S. Intelligence Community.
