Ishani Peddi

Ishani Peddi is a PhD student in International Affairs, Science, and Technology at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a master's degree in International Affairs, Science, and Technology, and a bachelor's degree in Economics, with a minor in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution. Her research has spanned outer space sustainability and debris removal, cislunar governance and regime theory, aerospace combustion noise and pollution analysis, and public transportation access and interdisciplinary transit pedagogy. Beyond academia, Ishani has worked with the Aerospace Security Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies as a Matthew Isakowitz Commercial Space Scholar, the NOAA Office of Space Commerce as a Federal Jackets Fellow, and Ball Aerospace as a Brooke Owens Fellow. She was named a 30 under 30 Payload Pioneer in 2025.
