The Master of Science in Global Development is a 12-month program designed to prepare professionals for sustainable development work in governments, private development firms, and NGOs in developing countries, primarily in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs' Ph.D. program provides an unparalleled opportunity for students with backgrounds in either politics or science and technology to deepen their understanding of international affairs through the advanced study of sub-fields such as international relations theory, international security, international political economy, comparative politics, and methods for social scientific research.

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs offers interdisciplinary graduate certificates in astrobiology, emerging technologies and proliferation, global development, and international security and aerospace systems. The certificates are 12 credit hour programs available to degree-seeking students at Georgia Tech. The global development and international security and aerospace systems certificates are also available to working professionals taking courses on a non-degree basis. Certificates allow students to specialize in an area of interest to meet their career ambitions.
