Deferred Aspirations: GTRI Engineer Earns Nunn School Master’s After Time Away to Care for Daughter

In the fall of 2020, everything seemed to be going according to plan for Darrel Zeh, a research engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). His family had settled into Atlanta after leaving Ohio’s cold winters behind for Georgia's milder temps — and a new job. He was well on his way to earning a master’s degree from the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. And he had a new daughter on the way.
