Computational Policy

Title: Computational Policy
Format: Other Publication
Publication Date: July 2013
Description:

Collective intelligence is the wisdom of individuals acting as a group. IBM describes it as "the aggregated knowledge, insight and expertise of a diverse group". This is something that academia, IT, and business have studied for decades, but that has recently come to be referred to by buzzwords like "crowdsourcing". However, the merits of collective intelligence can no longer be disputed, as it has been made a part of the systems of some of the most powerful and deeply entrenched organizations in society.
