Lt. Col Dotzlaf

HeadshotLt. Col Dotzlaf is a native of Greenwood, Indiana, and he entered the Air Force in 2004 as a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.

He is a career Civil Engineer Officer, having served in a variety of positions at squadron, wing, and major command level, with assignments at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska; Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio; Peterson AFB, Colorado; Langley AFB, Virginia; Maxwell AFB, Alabama; Spangdahlem AB, Germany; and Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina. His most recent position was as the Commander of the 316th Civil Engineer Squadron at JB Andrews, Maryland. Lt Col Dotzlaf has also served on five deployments in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, and SPARTAN SHEILD.

Lt Col Dotzlaf holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, master’s degree in Engineering Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and master’s degree in Military Arts and Operational Sciences from the Air Command and Staff College.

His military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal with seven oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and Air Force Achievement Medal, in addition to various unit and service awards. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado.

CDR Michael King​

HeadshotCDR King is a native of Chillicothe, Ohio, and received his commission from Aviation Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Fla. In August 2002 he reported to Corpus Christi, TX where he completed his primary flight training, after completion he reported to Pensacola, FL, for advanced flight training where he earned his wings in March 2004.

CDR King’s operational assignments include tours with Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light FOUR EIGHT (HSL-48), USS IWO JIMA, and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron THREE SEVEN (HSM-37). While at HSL-48 he deployed on USS LEYTE GULF in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He later deployed as Detachment Maintenance Officer with HARRY S. TRUMAN Carrier Strike Group on USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL again supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

As a crewmember of the USS IWO JIMA, he deployed as Assistant Air Officer in support 24th MEU deployment to C5F/C6F AOR and earned his Officer of the Deck Underway qualification. With HSM-37 he deployed in USS CHAFEE in support of GEORGE WASHINGTON Carrier Strike Group to include Unitas Pacific/Atlantic. Upon returning from deployment, Commander King served as Squadron Maintenance Officer and was selected as the 2016 HSM-37 Officer of the Year.

Ashore, CDR King served at HSL-40 as a Fleet Replacement Squadron Instructor Pilot in the SH-60B. In 2012 he earned a Masters of Military Art and Science in Military History from the Army Command and General Staff College in Ft. Leavenworth Kansas. In 2015 he reported to the Pentagon where he served on the Joint Staff, J-3 as a Strategic Surveillance Officer, Emergency Actions Officer, Assistant Deputy Director for Operations, and Presidential Strike Advisor in the National Military Command Center. In January 2020, he reported to HSM-49 as the Executive Officer.

CDR King has flown over 2700 flight hours in the H-60. He has been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Three Awards) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (Three Awards), in addition to other unit and personal awards.

LTC Casey L.C. Naputi

HeadshotLTC Casey L.C. Naputi was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She earned her commissioning through the ROTC program of Gonzaga University in May of 2002. LTC Naputi graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminology and later earned her master’s degree in military art and science through the Army Command and General Staff College.

Her military education includes graduation from the Military Intelligence Officer Basic course, the Military Intelligence Advanced Officer Course, the Signal Intelligence Officer Course, and the Army Command and General Staff College.

LTC Naputi has served in several tactical and operational assignments with the U.S. Army. She was an Assistant Regimental S2 with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana from 2003-2004; an Intelligence Analyst, Assistant G2, and the G2 with the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana from 2004-2006; a Brigade Intelligence Officer for the 1st Combat Support Brigade, Fort Polk, Louisiana from 2006-2007; a Battalion Intelligence Officer and a Rear Detachment Executive Officer for the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii from 2008-2009; Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, for the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii from 2009-2010; an Intelligence Officer for the Current Operations Intelligence Cell, G3 United States Army, Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii from 2010-2012; Course Manager/Instructor for the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leader Course, Fort Huachuca, Arizona from 2012-2013; a Plans Officer for the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade from 2014-2015, Battalion Operations Officer for the 109th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Battalion from 2015-2016, and Brigade Executive Officer for the 201st Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade from 2016-2017, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; the SOJ2 Chief, Joint Intelligence Support Element, Special Operations Command, Pacific, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii from 2017-2020.

Her most recent position was as the Commander of the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination Battalion, 116th Military Intelligence Brigade (Aerial-ISR) of the Intelligence and Security Command, from July 2020 to June 2022.

She has served on three deployments in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq from 2003-2004, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in 2009, and as the J2 of Joint Task Force-IndoPacific in support of Special Operations Command, Pacific.

Her personal decorations include Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Metal, Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster, Army Achievement Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Combat Action Badge and various unit and service awards.
