"Whether my career path remains entrenched in the nuclear security field, my Nunn School experience showed me how it relates to the broader network of national security concerns, and that is invaluable," Rising said.

"The coolest part of my job is learning directly from businesses about how they build and manage their supply chains — and then bringing that industry insight to policymakers to advocate for trade policies that benefit both businesses and consumers."

"My time at IAC taught me how to think critically and analytically about problems, systems, and solutions to public policy problems," Shultis said.

"While I get to serve my community every day for my job, I am especially passionate about building relationships with students and investing in the next generation of leaders."

Smith says the coolest part of his job is working with the scientists and engineers "who bring nuclear safeguards, treaty verification, satellite sensors, nuclear waste handling, and so much more from concept to reality."

Azizi was named one of the Alumni Association 40 Under 40 Class of 2020.

"My degree equipped me with a pragmatic, policy-oriented problem-solving framework that also appreciates the role of science and technology in foreign affairs — a unique asset of a Georgia Tech international affairs education."

Poole is completing a fellowship program at the National Nuclear Security Administration.

"The policy landscape for immigration is constantly in flux, providing learning and problem-solving opportunities on a daily basis," Westly says.
