About Peggy Berg
Peggy Berg serves on advisory boards for Michigan State University's School of Hospitality, Penn State University's School of Hospitality, and Georgia State University's School of Hospitality as well as the Hunter Conference and ALIS. She chairs the advisory board for the School of Public Policy at Georgia Tech. She is a director on the board of Tandem Bank.
Berg is the founder of Castell, which is now an AHLA Foundation Project. She founded Castell, a non-profit dedicated to advancing women in hospitality industry leadership with a goal of seeing women in more than one of every three positions at all levels in all fields of hospitality industry leadership and ownership.
In prior roles, she owned a Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn. A well-known consultant, she built the Highland Group and Hotel Investment Advisors and was a partner with PKF.
